Tour overview
Enjoy once in a lifetime 10-day 9-night tour of Ghana with Secure Travel and Tours. This tour takes you to the Presidency and the Courts to watch our court proceedings. Depart Accra for Akosombo Dam Site through the shai traditional area and view the ancestral homes of the shais before the British forced them out and settled in their present location. The guests will leave Accra for Kumasi to visit the Cultural Center, the Okomfo Anokye Sword Site and Manyiah Palace Museum of the Asantehene and proceed to the craft Villages of Ahiwiaa for Wood carvings, Ntonso for the Adinkra Cloth and also learn how the colours are got from the back of trees and make your patterns. Depart for Cape Coast, make a stopover at Assin Manso and visit the Slave River where the slaves had their last bath and the Slave route. Continue to Cape Coast, arrive and proceed to the Kakum National Park, the Canopy Walkway, to experience the unique flora from the tree-top level. Visit Elmina and the Cape Coast Castles, the world heritage site used during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade built-in 1482 by the Portuguese; it is the most extensive slave dungeon in sub-Saharan Africa by the beach and mingles with the local fishermen.

DAY 1 Arrival in Accra
Our team will meet the guest(s) at Kotoka International Airport and transfer them to their hotel. overnight in Accra
DAY 2 Accra city tour
Visit the presidency and the courts, and continue to the National Museum, which has a pre-historic collection to a contemporary collection. Continue to the Kwame Nkrumah Park to see the life and works of Ghana's first president and the tremendous pan-African; visit the W.E. B. Du Bois Centre for Pan African, culture. Visit old Accra and the arts centre. Overnight in Accra.
DAY 3 Accra to Akosombo and back to Accra
Depart Accra for Akosombo through the shai traditional area and view the ancestral homes of the shais before they were forced out by the British and settled in their present location. Arrive at Akosombo and tour the Dam Site and the Largest Man-made Lake in the world, which covers 40 per cent of the land size of Ghana, and see how power is generated in Ghana. And also see the smallest fish in the world. Return to Accra via the Akwapim hills, one of Ghana's most beautiful geographical scenery. Overnight in Accra.
DAY 4 Accra to Kumasi
Depart Accra for Kumasi to arrive and visit the Cultural Center, the OkomfoAnokye Sword Site and Manyiah Palace Museum of the Asantehene to see rear gold ornaments adorned by the great Ashanti kings over the years and effigies of past Ashanti kings and royal paraphernalia. Overnight in Kumasi.
DAY 5 Kumasi to Lake Bosomtwi and back to Kumasi
Depart Kumasi for the craft Villages of Ahiwiaa for Wood carvings, Ntonso for the Adinkra Cloth, and learn how the colours return from trees and make your patterns. Overnight in Kumasi.
DAY 6 Kumasi to Cape
Depart for Cape Coast, make a stopover at Assin Manso and visit the Slave River, where they had their last bath and the Slave route. Continue to Cape Coast, arrive and proceed to the Kakum National Park. Overnight in Cape Coast.
DAY 7 Cape & Elmina Castles
Visit the Elmina and the Cape Coast Castles. These are world heritage sites used during the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. The Portuguese built the Elmina castle in 1482 the most extensive slave dungeon in sub-Saharan Africa and a walking tour of the historical Elmina township. Overnight in cape coast. B/D
DAY 8 Cape Coast Beach
Spend the rest of the time by the beach and mingle with the local fishermen—overnight on Cape Coast.
DAY 9 Cape Coast to Accra
Depart Cape Coast for Accra, arriving late in the afternoon. Proceed to check in at your hotel overnight.
DAY 10 Departure
Spend the morning at leisure and last, minutes shopping. Leave for the airport for check-in and departure.
