Surfing is a surface water sport in which the wave rider, is known as a surfer, rides on the front portion, or front, of a rising tide, which normally leads the surfer towards the shore. Waves fit for surfing are primarily found in the sea, but can they are also found in lakes or rivers in the form of a standing tide or tidal bore.
