ITINERARY

 PACKING LIST

After breakfast, we will be

gin the tour at the bustling Makola market, where the tourists will have the opportunity to glance into the daily lives of many Ghanaians as they hustle from stall to stall, bargaining for every product imaginably. From the market we will head to Kwame Nkrumah Mausoleum, in Kwame Nkrumah Memorial Park. During this time, our tour guide will enlighten tourists about the rise of Ghana’s Independence leader and first President, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

After a relaxing lunch, tourists will be driven to James Town, home of the James Town Light house, Ussher Fort, and the fishing harbour. The local site guide in James Town will explain the ways of life of the people living in the fishing harbour, and tourists will see the fishermen’s wives preparing at the James town light house and Ussher Fort. Next, tourist will be driven to the Accra Art Center for an opportunity to bargain for paintings, masks and other crafts from around Ghana Finally, tourists will stop by the Independence Square, before making their way to Labadi beach to relax after a full day of seeing Ghana’s capital.
