Frequently asked questions
Is the canopy walk safe for children and seniors?
Yes. The bridges are inspected daily and have safety netting. Children must be tall enough to grip the handrails (typically 5+ years).
How long does the walk take?
The canopy circuit takes about 30–45 minutes; with a guided forest walk, plan 2–3 hours at the park.
Can I combine Kakum with the slave castles?
Yes — our most popular Central Region tour pairs Kakum with Cape Coast Castle and Elmina Castle in one or two days.
